Dr. Jennifer Balch featured on Colorado Public Radio

The Marshall Fire burned over 1,000 structures in Louisville, Superior, and unincorporated Boulder County in December 2021. It was the most devastating wildfire in Colorado history, and it made it apparent that plains communities aren't immune to wildfire risk. Principal Investigator of the Balch Fire Lab, Dr. Jennifer Balch, was featured on Colorado Public Radio's Climate Solutions Week to talk about how we need to shift our thinking around wildfire.

Give it a listen below and learn basic steps you can take to harden your home and create defensible space, no matter where you live!
